ASOCIACIÓN MUNDO ÉTICO

The Asociación Mundo Ético is a non-profit association, created in 2012 and registered in the register of Development Cooperation Agents of the Castilla y León Council. Mundo Ético’s activity is focused on the awareness, promotion and projection of Fair Trade and Responsible Consumption as transversal development tools. In addition, it organises solidarity events and Education for Development activities in educational centres as its main source of funding for its cooperation projects in the Dominican Republic and Mozambique.

WHAT WAS OUR CHALLENGE?

Our main challenge with the Asociación Mundo Ético was to globally face a project in which we created a current, close and very attractive brand. Furthermore, we sought to convey both the values of the NGO and its main activity, focused on Fair Trade and Education for Development. A brand that could work in several languages, mainly Spanish and Portuguese, where it carries out its activity.

WHAT DID WE DO?

Starting from scratch and immersing ourselves in the sector, we created the naming and corporate image encompassed in a branding and communication strategy that will bring personality and content to the project.

We also created Tico, as the mascot of Mundo Etico that would serve as a common thread of the activity and a whole line of ethicmonsters, as characters that will help Mundo Etico to make its activities more visible and attractive, providing closeness and attractiveness to the brand, especially with regard to its activity in events, design of games and educational materials and its Education for Development workshops.

Finally, we faced an online and offline communication plan adapted to their needs and possibilities. We took on the design and development of their web page and social networks, and managed their contact with the media (radio, TV and written press). These would serve Mundo Ético as channels for disseminating their activity and attracting new members and contributions to be able to finance their awareness-raising and international cooperation activities, which are key to their continuity.
